The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Martha Gonzales-Mijares, RN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Martha is a registered nurse who currently works at Children’s Mercy Hospital and specializes in medical surgical nursing, and in pediatric emergency assessment. All these certifications and her commitment towards her work have helped her in attaining many laurels in the short span of her service, including a Certificate for a Excellence in Quality Award.

Currently working with John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, she is affiliated with the 4 Seasons Nursing Home and works closely with them as a registered nurse. She has meticulously worked towards making rehab a better experience for her patients. She works in the dementia unit in a local nursing home and is a nursing manager for the community living center as well.

Her zeal to help is unparalleled and drives her to go the extra mile for her patients. She attributes her success to family support. When Tishara isn’t practicing, she enjoys spending time with children, and loves to travel and indulge in some poetry.

She wanted to give the best possible care to all of her patients, by treating them like family members. When she is not assisting patients, she enjoys gardening, white water rafting, and soccer.
