Skilled Nurse Alison L. Jones, RN, BSN, to Be Published in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare as New Member of the International Nurses Association

With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Alison L. Jones, RN, BSN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a young Registered Nurse currently serving patients at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Alison assumed her role in 2015, and her work involves assessing and implementing developmental interventions for the surgical/trauma pediatric patient and family, providing emotional support for families and patients post-operatively, and educating patients and families on hospital and home post-surgical care.

Alison studied at Villanova University and received her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing magna cum laude in 2014. Prior to her nursing degree, she obtained a bachelor’s degree of arts in health science from Gettysburg College in 2013. She is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and holds certifications in CPR, Pediatric Trauma, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, First Aid, AED, and Blood Borne Pathogen. Alison attributes her success to working with children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading.
