Leading Registered Nurse Shena Borders-Gazaway, RN, MSN, BSN to be Published in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare as New Member of the International Nurses Association

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Shena Borders-Gazaway, RN, MSN, BSN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Shena is a registered nurse with over 10 years of experience who teaches at Augusta University and serves on as the Assistant BSN Program Director for the Athens Campus.

Shena was educated at Brenau University, where she completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and is currently pursuing a PhD at Augusta University, with a projected graduation date in 2017. Shena is a recipient of a Jonas Nurse Leaders Scholar Award and a Lynette Burell Nurse Educator Award, an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau honor society, and an active member of the Georgia Nurses Association, where she serves on the Leadership Development Taskforce, and the American Nurses Association.

Shena’s favorite medical publication is American Nurse Today. When not teaching nursing students, she enjoys reading, singing, and spending time with friends and family.
