Alanna is a Certified Vascular Nurse (CVN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Certified Radiologic Nurse (CRN), Registered Nurse – Board Certified (RN-BC), and Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (FNP-BC). Alanna attributes her success to continuing education. She remains an active member of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA), the Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing (ARIN), and the American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA), which allows her to stay abreast of the latest developments in the nursing field. Sherry moved to Washington state in 1985 and worked at Providence Everett Hospital in labor and delivery, special care nursery, and postpartum through 2003. She also worked at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland from 1992 through 2013, having specialized in women’s and children’s healthcare for most of her career, being certified as a High Risk OB nurse and trained as a SANE (sexual assault nurse examiner). In addition, she trained and worked in the operating room as a circulator and related surgical services units. Sherry has many years of Charge nurse experience on Medical, OB and Surgical services units. She is currently working as a travel nurse for Accountable Healthcare Services as a labor and delivery travel nurse. Travel nursing is a constant challenge; Sherry is changing workplaces every three to six months while learning different practices and culture at each place of work. She is certified in ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, Stable, and NRP.

Sherry has always been interested in learning what’s new and most current in nursing, striving to improve her nursing skills, and challenging herself by training in a new area of nursing. She enjoys going to nurse conferences and being offered learning at her places of employment. She especially enjoys being in a lead or mentoring role. She has a lot of experience to share with new nurses, or nurses wanting to train in a new area for them. Her advice to any nurse is to never stop learning and always be open to new experiences.

Sherry is passionate about children, animal welfare, the environment, and disaster and humanitarian relief. When not assisting patients, she enjoys camping, gardening, riding ATVs, hiking, boating, and spending time with family and friends

Kerrie credits her success to her passion for evidence-based practice and partnership with colleagues and clients in collaborative practice. Kerrie is passionate about working collaboratively with families to enhance relationships and attachment between infants and young children and their main caregivers to improve family life, and ultimately the communities in which they live and work.
