Theresa Denise Monahan, RN, is a registered nurse with an impressive professional journey spanning across several decades. She practices at Hematology and Oncology of Indiana in Indianapolis, one of the clinic locations of St. Vincent’s Cancer Care. Apart from her work as an oncological nurse, her area of expertise, Theresa also participated voluntarily in of the races organized by The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. The Series is the largest, most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer in the world. As of 2014, Susan G. Komen’s community grants provided financial and social support for more than 50,000 families impacted by breast cancer. Compassionate, dedicated, extraordinarily passionate, Theresa feels that her success is the direct result of her perseverance and being grateful for her work and for whatever life’s offered. Theresa Denise Monahan, RN, officially joined the ranks of registered nurses in 1987 following her graduation from Marian University School of Nursing in Indianapolis, Indiana. Theresa is incredibly passionate about what she does and maintains her interest active in the ever-changing nursing arena as a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Cancer Society, and the Oncology Nursing Society. An avid reader of nursing and oncology related journals, Theresa D. Monahan, RN, dedicates to scuba diving, sewing, and camping in her spare time.
