Skilled Registered Nurse Karen Boyce Morris, RN, BSN, to Publish in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Karen Boyce Morris, RN, BSN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Karen is a registered nurse with fifteen years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in nursing management and geriatrics. She currently serving as Director of Nursing at HELP/PSI INC, now Brightpoint Health in New York City, New York.

Karen became a licensed practical nurse and registered nurse in 2000 from Hostos Community College after serving as a Nursing Assistant for eleven years at St. Joseph Nursing Home in Yonkers, New York. Upon graduating, she went to work at Bronx Lebanon Hospital for the next year and a half. In 2004, Karen received her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing from the College of New Rochelle. She started working at Methodist Church Home in Bronx New York in 2002 as a Nursing Supervisor and is still working in that position. In 2008 started working at HELP/PSI INC as the Assistant Director of Nursing and then Director of Nursing from 2012 to July 2015.

For Karen, nursing was a childhood dream and she always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. She attributes her success to great team work and has research interests in AIDS, geriatrics, dementia, and infectious disease. When not assisting her patients, Karen dedicates to traveling.
