Shafana Bhaloo,RN, BScN, GNC(C) to be Published in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare as New Member of the International Nurses Association

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Shafana Bhaloo,RN, BScN,GNC(C)  to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Shafana is a Registered Nurse who currently works as the RN Team Leader at Baycrest Hospital and Clinical Nursing Instructor at Centennial College, respectively. Both are located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and provide essential services for city residents. With over eighteen years of experience she specializes in geriatrics and is additionally affiliated with the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Saint Elizabeth Health Care Agency.

Shafana received her education at Centennial College, where she earned her diploma in nursing, and Ryerson University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing. To stay current in her field, she is a professional member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Ontario Nurses Association,the Registered Nurses of Ontario, and the Canadian Nurses Association. For her hard work and dedication, she received the Jerry Solway Nursing Education Award in 2008 and the Maxwell and Fanny Levy Nursing Award in 2014.

Attributing her success to her ability to reach goals that she has set for herself, she cites her education as a leading factor in her current practice.Her success is also greatly influenced by her parents and her husband Alkarim Bhaloo. Her husband has encouraged and  inspired her to reach her dreams.When she is not assisting patients, Shafana enjoys playing badminton and table tennis, participating in community outreach, and spending time with friends and family members.
