Laura Colley Richardson, BSN, RN, to Publish in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare as New Member of the International Nurses Association

With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Laura Colley Richardson, BSN, RN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Laura is a registered nurse at the North General Hospital where she specializes in critical care, emergency room nursing, and the post-anesthesia care unit. Based out of New York, she has over forty years of experience in her field.

Laura precepts and teaches nursing students in her spare time. She was educated at Staten Island Community College and Pace University and graduated in 1999. She holds a certification in advanced cardiac life support and her bachelor’s degree in nursing. As a professional member of the National Black Nurses Association and the Registered Nurses Council, she is able to stay current in her field. In 2010, she was awarded a Leadership Award for Dedicated Service from North General Hospital.

She attributes her success to her strong desire to help the needy and her feeling that nursing is her mission. When she is not assisting patients, she enjoys swimming, vacationing, being involved with her church, and spending time with her friends and family members.
