Advancing Health Education in Rural Areas Allows Lesley J. S. Johnson RN, BSN to Represent her Community with Publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is proud to welcome Lesley J. S. Johnson RN, BSN into their prestigious organization with her publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Lesley has spent her 38 year career working as a school nurse and health educator. Currently, Lesley works for SequelCare of Maine, an organization that develops and operates programs for people with behavioral, emotional, or physical challenges. Their mission is to prepare clients to lead responsible and fulfilling lives by providing mentoring, education, and living support within a safe, structured, dynamic environment.
Lesley has been a member of the faculty as a health coordinator at a local school, and she holds a certificate in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. In 1996, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Husson University and began working in the public education sector. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and enjoys reading the School Nurse Digest medical journal.
Advancing health education in rural areas has driven Lesley throughout her career to help people in places that would not normally receive these resources. Her dedication and hard work throughout the years has helped her achieve success, and she is grateful for the support of her community. When she is not helping students, she enjoys reading, doing home renovations, and sailing.
