Multifaceted Nurse from Washington with Expertise in Neonatal Intensive Care, Alta B. Kendall, MN, ARNP, NNP-BC, Installed in Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

As a result of impeccable passion and quality patient care, Alta B. Kendall, MN, ARNP- NNP-BC, has been selected to receive publication in Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. The International Nurses Association is proud to welcome Alta into a prestigious, supportive community for top nurses in recognition of her outstanding performance as a nurse practitioner.
Alta is an established nurse practitioner serving in the neonatal intensive care unit of MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. An integral part of MultiCare, Tacoma General Hospital is the largest hospital in Tacoma with a Level II Trauma Center and the second largest obstetrical care center in the state of Washington. MultiCare consists of five hospitals, namely Allenmore Hospital, Auburn Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital, numerous outpatient specialty centers, primary and urgent care clinics, as well as a variety of other services and community outreach programs. To complement her work as a NICU nurse, Alta serves as a Lead Instructor for STABLE and NRP certifications for her colleagues. She also had an article published in the Journal of Neonatal Nurses (2012).
Alta became a registered nurse in 2004 upon completing adequate studies at the Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington. She received her master’s degree of science from Walden University and is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Nursing Practice program, which she is expected to complete by 2015. Alta is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), as well as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (NNP-BC). She remains active in the ever-changing nursing field as a member of the American Nurses Association, the Washington State Nurses Association, the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the National Association of Neonatal Nurses, the Academy of Neonatal Nursing, and the Pierce County Nurses Association.
