Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare has elected Tina M. Balishin, BSN, RN, to speak for the state of Ohio as one of the most experienced, dedicated and highly skilled nurses and nurse educators. In her current position with Kent State University, as well as throughout her entire career, Tina has continued to exhibit the same unwavering commitment to excellence and enduring passion for all aspects of patient care required to be mentioned among the best by the International Nurses Association.

Tina is Registered Nurse working at the well established higher education provider, Kent State University, with its campus in Kent, Ohio. Tina’s experience as a nurse encompasses a full suite of roles, such as clinical nurse specialist, director of nursing, skilled nurse, private duty nurse, one-on-one intervention specialist, home health nurse, and health information technician. She works for Azmed Home Healthcare headquartered in South Euclid, Ohio as their Director of Nursing and Clinical Supervisor performing a variety of complex duties. Moreover, she is a Skilled Nurse specializing in Home Health Care as well as a Private Duty Nurse at Professional Nursing Services and also One-on-One Interventionist, Substitute Paraprofessional, and RN at Nordonia Hills City School District.

Tina received her Associate’s Degree of Nursing in 2011 from Kent State University. She advanced her education with her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing (BSN) acquired in 2013 from the same prestigious public research university in Ohio. Tina is additionally certified in Basic Life Support and graduated Cum Laude in 2013 when she finalized her studies for her BSN degree majestically. She is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and of the Gold Key Honor Society. In her time off work, she dedicates to reading the American Journal of Nursing and enjoys taking certification courses.
