As a result of impeccable passion and quality patient care, Jennifer Ambrozevicius, BSN, RN, has been selected to receive publication in Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare.  The International Nurses Association is proud to welcome Jennifer into a prestigious, supportive community for top nurses in recognition of her outstanding performance as a registered nurse.

A registered nurse since 2005, Jennifer embraced with great commitment to excellence and enduring dedication her duties as a gerontological nurse at the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Center stands as a 468-bed academic teaching hospital that operates as the very heart of Lutheran HealthCare, which is one of the most fully integrated health care systems in the country. The System incorporates a medical center, a multi-site health center network, home care, and subsidized senior housing and community development. Also a preceptor within Lutheran Medical Center, Jennifer attributes her success to her passion for her patients. She opted to work in one of the most challenging arrays of nursing, i.e. gerontological nursing, formerly known as geriatric nursing. This particular specialty of nursing pertains to older adults and entails nurses working closely with older adults, their families, and communities to support maximum functioning, healthy aging, and quality of life.

Jennifer received her Associate’s Degree of Nursing in 2005 from Suffolk County Community College in New York. After officially becoming a Registered Nurse, she decided to pursue her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing at City Tech, which is The City University of New York’s college of technology. Jennifer received her BSN degree in 2013 and additionally holds certifications in ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support and BLS – Basic Life Support. During her academic career, she was featured on the Dean’s List and was always regarded as a focused, education-oriented student. She loves reading and relaxing but also working out in her time outside nursing practice.
