Nancy Lynn Gerrety, RN, Represents North Carolina – International Nurses Association

Nancy is a registered nurse currently working at W. G. Bill Hefner VA Hospital in Salisbury, North Carolina. The hospital provides quality inpatient and outpatient services to thousands of American veterans and their beneficiaries. Nancy’s area of specialization is in mental health nursing where she helps her patients dealing with mental distresses including; depression, dementia, psychosis, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder among other afflictions that are especially prevalent among people who have been exposed to wars and related traumatic life events.

Nancy received her nursing degree from Good Samaritan College in 1981. She is certified as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) and keeps on top of her field by reading the latest issues of nursing publications. With an illustrious career spanning over 3 decades, Nancy credits her successes to the solid mentorship she has received from her role models over the years.
